Go, See, Talk! Review: Hit & Run, 2012, dir. Dax Shepard & David Palmer

Maybe I’m prejudiced, but looking at that poster for the first time didn’t fill my heart with confidence in Hit & Run‘s potential. The producers of Wedding Crashers? Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell, two talented TV actors who really haven’t made a successful transition to movies? Tom Arnold? Bradley Cooper, with hair so horrid it makes him look like a less beat-up Mickey Rourke? Every bit of data I picked up from marketing (notably the heavily edited TV spots) had me wary of this film, and so you can imagine my delight at discovering that it’s actually a lot of fun. There are some bumps and bruises here, but also totally badass muscle cars and some wonderful performances from the cast, coupled with great chase scenes and laughs– but you’ll have to take a trip over to Go, See, Talk! for my full review.
