It’s been some time since I’ve done a good old fashioned straightforward Q&A piece, and after nearly missing the boat on Something in the Dirt‘s theatrical run*, I was quite happy to get the go-ahead to talk to Benson & Moorhead, who could start a law firm if their movie careers don’t work out.
Something in the Dirt is a nice contrast and contradiction to the duo’s Marvel work in March, via the Moon Knight series; the latter is big studio work where their voice is couched in someone else’s vision, and the former is the best distillation to date of who they are as people and as artists. They’re a fun pair to chat with.

*I did, in fairness, review the film out of Sundance, so it wouldn’t have been a total loss, but forgive me if I like to double-dip on movies that wrinkle my brain.
