“‘The Greatest Beer Run Ever”s Adaptation Is a Half-Hearted Trip to the Convenience Store”

Peter Farrelly must be stopped. You let the guy win one Oscar for an extremely bad film, and suddenly he thinks he can make whatever garbage he likes. That said, I think The Greatest Beer Run is a far better movie than Green Book, the same way that losing your legs is better than losing internal organs. Still ain’t good! I know which one I’d rather, though.

I really wish I’d seen the same movie as John Kerry, whose piece about the film in the Boston Globe is the partial basis of my own review. But Kerry has a perspective and with that perspective comes a (natural) bias, so there’s that.

You can read that review of mine, by the way, over at Paste Magazine.
