“WWII Thriller Hauls Hitler’s Corpse to a Dangerous ‘Burial'”

If you’re trying to sell me a movie about a big “what if” WWII scenario, you’re in luck: I’ll buy it. Usually. I’m not that much of a sucker. But I’m enough of a sucker that Burial did its thing and I went with it, no matter how hard the movie goes trying to emphasize the idea that Hitler and Donald Trump are two sides of the same coin.

The thing is, and I mention this in my review, one of those things is not like the other, and I wish Burial didn’t try to push the obvious allusion and instead used that time to better flesh out its ensemble, or orchestrate more shots of Nazis getting dead, because isn’t that what we watch movies like this for? It’s certainly what I watch them for.

You can read my whole darn review over at the ol’ Paste Magazine.
