One day I would like to write a book, about 400 pages long, detailing exactly how no one died shooting the Raid films. One day. This isn’t about just the Raid films, of course, so I’ll move on. Just wanted you all to know in case you have publishing friends who can help me with that.
My hope with this list is that I managed to be representative of the depth of kung-fu and martial arts cinema, so as to avoid babbling about nothing but Donnie Yen, Bruce Lee, and Jackie Chan movies. There are other martial arts movies. Here’s a bunch of them! I am particularly happy to talk a bit about Cynthia Rothrock, Cheng Pei-pei, and Veronica Ngo, not because they could kick my ass but because they are ass kickers.
