I’ve probably said this before either to you in person or on Twitter or on this here blog, but I’m very nervous speaking about Black identity, American or Canadian or otherwise, on account of I’m white. I think white people should be nervous making the attempt to unpack identities other than their own, of course. I also think the nerves should at some point transition into understanding, which I hope is what I achieved in my review of the new AHI album, Prospect.
