I spoke with Carlson Young, actress, writer, and now feature filmmaker, aaaaall the way back in January when I covered Sundance remotely; I banked a conversation with her about her movie The Blazing World, adapted from her short film of the same name (and which she likewise premiered at Sundance years prior). It’s been a long wait. I’m a little surprised nobody thought to drop the movie sooner than now, but I guess better late than never, even if “late” means “competing with Halloween Kills in the October horror marketplace.”
So yeah, this is a long time coming and I’m glad to finally be able to share the conversation with y’all. You can read the whole thing over at the ol’ Fangoria.
