I’m honestly not sure how many times What We Do in the Shadows has mocked Twilight in the past, but the 3rd episode is wrapped around a Twilight gag that frankly made my day. If the rest of the season to date wasn’t any good, at least we’d have that gag.
But hey, the rest of the season to date is that good, so win-win. I’m probably a mark for this show, amazing given my wariness over the concept when first announced years ago. Cut to now and I’m past sick to death of Taika Waititi, or Taika Waititi as he has been molded by Hollywood, and I’d much rather hear from these characters instead (excepting one necessary Waititi cameo that, at least, recalls the guy as I knew him before he got that Marvel money). Let’s hear it for Novak, Berry, Demetrio, Guillen, and Proksch!
