There’s a certain working man meat-and-potatoes quality to Sweet Girl that I actually didn’t mind much, and then the movie shows offs its big reveal, and
a) it’s insane, and
b) movies like this don’t really need big reveals
I’d be curious to talk to Brian Andrew Mendoza just to wrap my head around the logic of why that big reveal is even there, but suffice to say that I couldn’t take it.
