“Should Public Transit Be Free?”

If you think I have anything wittier to add here, I don’t. Public transit should be free. The pluses far outweigh the minuses, and if the pandemic has taught us any one thing*, it’s that all of our institutions are vulnerable to attack from an actual virus; and if our institutions are vulnerable, then the people who rely on them are more so. This is a no-brainer.
