So yeah: First I was all, “Ah, great, another TV show about how sad comedians are,” and then I was all, “Oh, hey, Jean Smart and part of the Broad City team,” and then I was all, “Hey boss, let me review this thing with Jean Smart and part of the Broad City team,” and now, well, take a guess.
Hacks is a great show, easily one of the best I’ve bothered watching this year and without a doubt a wonderful showcase for Jean Smart, who only deserves wonderful showcases. That’s it. That’s all I’ve got. You have to go read my review for The Playlist for more.
