Are couples supposed to stay in love when they’ve been together for years upon years, stretching into decades? We always accept that no, they aren’t, and they’re hiding something if they are. I think Happily does well deconstructing that frankly depressing cultural more, though I also might talk a little too much about the film’s details in my review. Honestly, I have no idea where the line for spoilers is with projects like it, but rest assured: You won’t know where Happily is going at any turn.
