You don’t watch Alejandro Jodorowsky movies. Alejandro Jodorowsky movies happen to you. You might even get the sense, after watching them a sufficient number of times, that they’re watching you, but regardless, here’s the true facts: Jodo films are innately stressful experiences*.

So I watched four of them! In a row! Not in one long sitting, but basically they were all I watched until I was finished with them. I’m eternally grateful for the excellent booklet essays coupled with the box set here, or else I may have just lost my fucking mind entirely.
