“‘The Boys’ Season 2 Is Violent, Excessive Superhero Satire With A Lot On Its Mind”

I have a long history with Garth Ennis’ work, though I admit that having only read The Boys once from start to finish, my memory of the comic is somewhat hazy. But my memory of the TV series is pretty darn good! So I walked into the second season, which drops on Amazon on 09/04, with a clear head and a steel gut, prepped for more superhero mayhem.

And I got it! Plus some Aya Cash, who is never not good but who does new things with her Cash-ness that I won’t go into more detail here than I do in my review. And by the way: That’s posted over at The Playlist.
