“‘How to Build a Girl’ Betrays Its Blueprints”

Maybe it’s weird to say that Johanna Morrigan deserves better when the person responsible for How to Build a Girl‘s screenplay is the same person who wrote her in novel form. But hey, here we are.

How to Build a Girl grated on me in ways few bad movies do; it’s quite possibly insult for anyone familiar with Moran and her work, and simply irritating for the rest. I’m not really inclined to give it more digital ink than that.
