I like drinking, in case you haven’t caught on, and so it stands to reason that I also like eating. Also, if you’ve met me, you probably know that I’m the kind of person who will eat a loaded potato skin in two, or possibly one, bites just to make a good first impression, which never works because who thinks that’s a good thing*?
My initial idea was to work my way through a handful of recipes in a recent hangover cure recipe book, but my editor had a much better (read: less punishing on my body) idea back in January. So, this piece, in other words, is long overdue, but complications put it off and then COVID-19 happened and put it off further. Such is life freelancing on the web. I’m not upset, really; the piece is good, and now’s as good a time as any to spread the word on how to shake off a nasty hangover, since I’m sure we’re all drinking lots more now.
