I didn’t know much about Nap Eyes before listening to their latest – honestly, the name made me a bit nervous, because I don’t want to listen to music from guys who play while fighting off sleep – but I feel like I know them intimately now after listening to Snapshot of a Beginner. As I say in my piece, I think the record is a window into their psyche, and I really, really like it.
