Guys, you don’t need to worry. I know I’ve had a few Satan-centric pieces out there recently (see: Penny Lane, Hail Satan?), but I don’t actually truck with that horned devil fellow. He’s not my kind of people.
But being as I’m a film critic, and being as we at Paste Magazine like writing unexpected lists about unexpected things, I made a couple of contributions to our latest, a compilation of the best appearances Satan’s made in cinema. That means The Witch. That means The Devil’s Advocate. That means I put down words about Terry Gilliam and Tom Waits. I’m predictable, but you like that, I think I hope.
