Brace yourselves, gang: I’m super into Ireland’s horror movies.

I’m not sure what else to say here. I sort of ruined my intro for this piece with my straightforward review of The Hole in the Ground, that new horror movie I won’t shut up about. So, I’ll just say: Go here, read the thing, then come back here, and read this other thing, “this other thing” being a dive on how Ireland’s horror is so specific to its country in terms of both cultural heritage and history.
