“Hmm,” you’re saying, checking movie listings, trying to figure out what exactly you should consider going out to the movie theater palace to see, gauging whether or not this movie or that movie is worth spending your money (which you can earn back) and your time (of which you have a finite amount as a fool mortal living on this earth) on. Well: Don’t do that. There are good movies in theaters. You just have to click on the link at the bottom of this post to find out what they are.
Fair warning: I think a few of these movies are either middling or awful, Suspiria in particular, one of the worst horror movies to come out of this growing trend of horror being the new prestige among filmmakers. But Burning is good! Widows is good! Shoplifters, Liz and the Bluebird, Can You Ever Forgive Me?, and Creed II are all good! So…that’s good.
