Review: Super Troopers 2, 2018, dir. Jay Chandrasekhar

I’m 33 years old and apparently liking Super Troopers and its sequel, Super Troopers 2, is a sign that I need to evaluate my taste and perhaps take a good, hard look at myself in the mirror. Honestly, it probably does say something about me that I still think dick and fart jokes are funny, but if I can say something about that, it’s that I’d rather eat a bullet than be the kind of person who can’t appreciate that kind of thing (and besides, when I look in the mirror, I generally like what I see, except on days when I have been stress eating, and then all I see is ice cream molded into a man’s shape).

Anyways. Super Troopers 2 is out, I liked it, and I don’t really care about much of anything else. I laughed like a loon. Maybe my review for Paste Magazine will help you out with whatever self-abashed reservations you have about seeing it.
