This one’s short and sweet (and a tad late, whatever, big whoop): In the year-end circus of praise and awards ceremonies, some critics and publications manage to find time to actually think about and write about the worst movies they saw over the last 365 days. As a critic, and as a person, I find this practice a) insane, because Christ, isn’t writing a series of best-of lists enough of a chore, and b) offensive, because seriously, why would you do that shit unless your goal is to amuse yourself and get some traffic to your site. I dug into this practice over at Paste Magazine for giggles, and come out the other side suggesting that maybe we shouldn’t do that anymore.
