I think we’re going to see a lot of people making movies on iPhones, or I guess I should say a lot more people; it’s not like Sean Baker, the brilliant Sean Baker, he of Tangerine, and Starlet, and Prince of Broadway, is the first filmmaker to think of using a mobile device to shoot a movie, but I doubt Jenna Bass will be the last to try the same thing, as she did with her new film High Fantasy. (FYI: It’s screening at TIFF this year, which is “where” I saw it, “where” in quotes because I watched it and reviewed it remotely.)
The long and the short of it is: I liked High Fantasy! I liked it a lot. So I wrote about it for The Playlist. (I mean, I also wrote about it for The Playlist because they asked me to, so there’s also that.)
