xXx: Return of Xander Cage is an incredibly stupid movie, but it’s an incredibly stupid movie that proves the value of incredibly stupid movies. You will not “turn off your brain” while watching it so much as your brain will forcibly shut down to avoid shaving off any of your precious IQ points; at the same time, you’ll have fun watching it, and a lot of that has to do with Vin Diesel’s brand of collaborative blockbusting, wherein he plays a center role in a big cast of engaging, good-looking actors, gathered together just to have a good time. You can’t really hate on that. (Whatever. It’s better than Underworld: Blood Wars.) I wrote about this and more in my review for Paste Magazine. Go surf over there. On a motorcycle.

  1. Every film with Donnie Yen is worth watching. He always deliver whatever movie. The man has just got it, the force, the charm, the charisma, the magic and the coolness, and it’s effortless and natural. IMO he’s the most awesome, amazing, fantastic and gorgeous actor, and I love all his movies. His Chinese/HK movies are superior to everything they make in HW, and when he’s the action director, only the sky is the limit, and his choreography is unique and spectacular. He’s got so many epic award winning movies to his name. I recommend you all to start to watch his movies and you’ll be in for a real roller coaster of awesomeness.
