Try fitting all of that text into your mouth at once. You can’t! It’s a big, beefy title directed by two guys. That’s a lot of verbiage. But what Raiders!: The Story Of The Greatest Fan Film Ever Made lacks in succinctness it makes up for with compelling storytelling. Messy, compelling storytelling, sure, but storytelling that’s no less arresting despite being all over the place. Raiders! has a major case of ADD, and not the “Oops! I forgot to put bread on the grocery list! I’m so ADD!” kind of ADD, but actual motherfucking ADD. It also has an enormous heart, and it says a few profound things about the nature of fandom, but I won’t spoil you – just go dig my piece for The Playlist yourself.
